Completed 6 Month inspection for 5 Ton AC/120,000 BTU natural gas furnace. Replaced 16x26x1 filter Tested system in cooling. Temperature split 70-49=21° Good. Measured static pressure. Checked fan speeds. Inspected condition of indoor and outdoor coils. Checked wiring and controls. Left recommendationsfor surge protectors. Inspected drain and components. Measured hot surface ignitor resistance. Cleaned flame sensor; verified flame rectification circuit. Checked pressure switch and components. Measured temperature rise and static pressure. Checked all wiring and motors. Found weak blower capacitor. Homeowner agreed to replace. Inspection of burners ignitor and flame sensor: Good Combustion/draft test: Good Furnace is operating well at the time of this maintenance. 2. 2 Ton Comfortmaker Heat Pump with 8KW strip heater that serves 2nd floor. Replaced both 20x20x1 filters. Checked back up heat/measured amp draw of strip heater. Measured temperature rise. Checked all wiring, electric motors and components. Checked refrigerant pressures. Checked hot surface ignitor ohms and looked for cracks/hot spots during start up. Cleaned flame sensor. Hacked flame sense/rectification circuit. Checked all electric motors and components. Checked temperature rise and static pressure. Checked gas pressure. Combustion draft test: Good Furnace is operating well at the time of this maintenance.
